Architecture Week 2004, 18 - 27 June
This year’s programme for Architecture Week in the North East includes a greater variety of events than ever before, happening over more of the region. The events include exhibitions, talks and conferences, visits to new buildings just finished and still being built, and the chance to try your own hand at changing spaces yourself.

Northern Architecture wins new  funding
Northern Architecture has been successful in its bid for regional funding from CABE (the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment). Northern Architecture has received a grant of £100,000 over the years 2004-2006, in order to develop its work championing good design in the region and increasing public involvement in architecture and design. An additional sum of money was set aside by CABE to look into the creation of a new Architecture and Built Environment Centre in the Tees Valley.
